Eyre's architectural drawings, largely renderings with only a few working drawings, 1877-1939; landscape drawings, miscellaneous sketches (mostly of people), and poster designs for architectural exhibitions, 1886-1928; ten scrapbooks containing architectural drawings, photographs, and published illustrations, circa 1880s-1920s, documenting Eyre's work--two scrapbooks deal exclusively with garden designs by Eyre and others; lists of Eyre's architectural work; typescript and printed articles and lectures by or about Eyre, including Louisa Eyre's manuscript notes about her brother; correspondence, photographs, and other documents relating to exhibits of Eyre's work at the Architectural League of New York, 1938, and the University of Pennsylvania, 1945; and letters, photographs, portraits of Eyre, certificates, awards, and other documents relating to Wilson Eyre and the Eyre family.

Philadelphia architect. Eyre began his career in 1877 when he joined the Philadelphia office of architect James Peacok Sims. After Sims' death in 1879, Eyre took over the office.
